About the Middle School Program

Non profit Charity with IRS and State of Michigan

The club is open to ages 10 to 14 including all Ann Arbor Middle School wrestling programs. Please bring a copy of birth certificate. Club fees include professional
instruction, insurance and wrestling room.

The Jr. Wolverine Wrestling Club objective is to create a positive experience for youth, while promoting sportsmanship, leadership, character development and a passion for the sport of Wrestling. You will see a positive change in your child’s maturity and work ethic.

Coach Mason is the Head Wrestling Coach at Skyline HS and Forsythe MS. Assistant Coaches will include current and past Skyline HS and Forsythe Wrestlers.

Train Where the Champions Train.

We train year round. Come for all seasons or just a single season! Fall: Sept- Nov., Winter: Jan.- March, Spring: April- June, Summer: June- July.
We are members of: MYWAY, MMWA, AAU and Michigan-USA Wrestling Associations.
We will compete against other clubs in the Eastern Region. Competition is not required; coach will determine eligibility to participate in meets and tournaments.
We will have several Ann Arbor Jr. Wolverine days @ the University of Michigan Wrestling meets (Cliff Keen Arena).

  • FreeStyle Greco Roman wrestling season starts March 3, 2025

    FolkStyle Fall Season starts September 3, 2025

    Winter FolkStyle wrestling season starts January 5, 2026

  • Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 PM

  • Skyline High School Wrestling Room, 2552 N. Maple, Ann Arbor 48103 (wrestling room entrance is off the 2nd floor indoor track)

  • Open to all Middle Schools. 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade.
